Full Stack - LAMP STACK Developer

  • In this role, you will work closely with the business leads and development team to ensure the delivery of the overall portfolio.
  •  This candidate will be proactive, outgoing and detail-oriented with strong technical skills, excellent problem solving and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Accountable for the development and configuration of custom applications to meet business requirements
    Participates in project teams to help identify solutions and requirements for new functionalities and performing impact analysis
  • Work directly with software developers, technical architects, and support personnel to define, document, and manage requirements
  • Builds and maintains good working relationships with the business leads and the user base to Informatics and business leads
  • Troubleshoot issues with production environments, escalating as needed to Engineering team
  • Support infrastructure maintenance and enhancement activities from an operational perspective
  • Support additional operational efforts as appropriate
  • 4-6+ years of professional IT experience
  • Full stack web development with extensive front-end experience
  • Advanced knowledge of the LAMP stack, especially proficient knowledge of PHP 5 & 7: backend work and implementation (nice to have Experience with Xdebug)
  • Proficient in version control systems such as GIT (nice to have a familiarity with GitFlow workflow)
  • Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and non-relational databases like MongoDB and REDIS
  • Proficient understanding of front-end markup, including HTML5 and CSS and SCSS
  • Proficient understanding of JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS, React, jQuery and NPM (or Yarn)
  • Familiar understanding of responsive frameworks, including Bootstrap
  • Familiar in backend frameworks such as Symfony
  • Familiar with RESTful API development
  • Familiar with the WordPress platform and other open-source frameworks/CMS, and have experience developing custom themes and plugins
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, software engineering or similar
