THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN SAN DIEGO, CA – SAN DIEGO COUNTY
The candidates must have no DUIs within 5 years and no excessive misdemeanors/ felony driving charges. Seeking candidates who are eager to start their career!
  • Position requires up to 75% bending and stooping while working on the instruments.
  • The analyzers are only 34-36 inches tall.
  • The resource may even have to Client down on the floor while doing repairs. The candidates must be able to complete the physical requirements of the position.
  • Candidates must be willing and ready to travel up to 100% for this role.
  • Candidates must have a credit card they are able to use for expenses.
  • Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and system failure, using established procedures.
  • Determines most cost effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime.
  • Provides analysis, feedback and recommendations on product failure trends and service ability issues.
  • Documents all activity in a manner compliant with company's quality procedures.
Job Details:
  • This position serves as a resource for the technical maintenance and installation of research products assigned product lines.
  • Performs on-site preventative maintenance, installation, and technical updates (TSB's) on company product(s).
  • Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and system failure, using established procedures as necessary when performing preventative maintenance, installations, and technical updates (TBS's) activities.
  • Documents all activity in a manner compliant with company's quality procedures.
  • May adapt procedures, processes, tools equipment and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position.
  • Duties are generally routine but may include non-routine tasks.
  • Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
Education:
  • High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience
  • Successfully training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy
  • Knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and information technology
  • Knowledge of basic chemistry
