Engineer Support Specialist, Manufacturing

Job Summary
•The Engineer Support Specialist, under the direction of the Project Engineering Team, will work as an integral member of the project team to support the implementation and deployment of the projects resulting from quality, capital or cost reduction efforts.
•The Engineer Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical writing and analysis to assist the project engineering team implement projects. This role is responsible for inputting data, executing installation and qualification protocols, updating process specifications, conducting and verifying cost savings estimates and ensuring proper linkages of related artwork files. Work is inclusive of managing project tasks, composing letters, reports, preparing / editing presentations, creating 'red line' documents and entering information into AGILE and routing for approval.
•The Project Engineer will support the implementation, documentation changes and contractor management on assigned projects. The documentation activities include but are not limited to: feasibility studies, validation protocols, standard operating procedures changes, training material, drawings and raw material specification updates.
•The Support Engineer is expected to provide timely updates to the assigned Project Engineer based on agreed to timelines and schedules. Report progress to management as needed and support programs and documentation for the facility.

What Engineering Support Specialist contributes to Cardinal Health
•The Engineer Support Specialist is responsible for providing sound judgment on assigned tasks and accurately convey results to the project engineer. This role is responsible for implementing and ensuring on-time completion of assigned projects to meet the approved and established scope, budget and schedule.
•Creation of 'red line' documents and enters into the AGILE Document Control Program and routing for approval.

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field; industrial and medical experience preferred
•A minimum of 2+ years related work experience preferred
•Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
•Working knowledge MS Office Applications and Minitab
•Familiarity with statistics, project management and quality regulations
•Skills/Competencies: Able to convey common scientific and technical information. Good written, oral, and presentation skills.
•Other Skills: Ability to handle conflict, team concepts, training, and scheduling
