Responsible for moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger or costing and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements. Prepares trial balance, financial statements, cost audits and/or bank account reconciliations. Accountable for the correct and timely processing of the receivables and payables. Develops, implements and maintains a variety of accounting records, statements and reports related to the assigned area.
Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.

1. Using acceptable accounting practices is responsible for moderately complex accounting analysis and auditing for assigned area or responsibility. Refers more complex issues to higher levels.
2. Prepares a variety of routine financial and/or cost activities, reports, and statements including but not limited to month end journal entries, closes ledger, generates reports, cost allocation, and G/L reconciliations. Assists with monthly and year end closing processes and reporting (e.g. GAAP, Tax Packages, cost allocation). Reconciles balance sheet and select accounts.
3. Assist with special projects as requested. Provide support in any and all functions, as requested, to insure the successful operation of company and achievement of corporate objectives.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent business experience
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles and practices GAAP or IAS and auditing
  • Working knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheets applications, and data bases (e.g. Excel).
