Duration: 6 month W2 Contract
Pay Rate: Up to $34/hour

Summary: The main function of an accommodations specialists is to process accommodations requests for individuals and employees with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act in the US or by other local laws in other countries.

Job Responsibilities:
• Respond to employee and internal stakeholder inquiries related to the reasonable accommodations processes and policy, globally.
• Advise regarding global reasonable accommodations program components, disability pay benefits, and leave programs
• Oversee lower and mid-tier cases as well as escalated matters within those cases while performing end-to-end case management through implementation, tracking of accommodation transitions, and follow-up within the accommodations related tool.
• Conduct interactive communications with employees and candidates, being a liaison between business lines, appropriate medical providers, and/or TPA for disability/WC to seek clarity for issue resolution and follow-up of certified limitations.
• Utilize relevant and appropriate medical information to assist with identifying and implementing reasonable accommodations through the interactive process.
• Approve and/or negotiate reasonable alternative accommodations as well as deny requests based on relevant factors, when appropriate.
• Support Accommodation Business Partners in maintaining and consistently meeting our service level agreements (SLAs) around responsiveness and employee experience.
• Track and monitor case actions and documentation in the case tracking system while maintaining confidentiality.

Skills:
• Knowledge of ADA regulations, guidelines, and standards
• Knowledge of HIPAA and related Federal and State privacy laws and regulations.
• strong listening, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess and interpret individual needs and make appropriate referrals

Education:
• Bachelors Degree in HR or related field preferred.
