Customer Service Representative
Address: Remote until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, 6272 Lee Vista Blvd, Orlando, FL 32822
Equipment: Provided, must be able to pick up at 6272 Lee Vista Blvd, Orlando, FL 32822
Training Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM, 4-6 weeks
Regular Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-6:30PM, 8-hour shift. Final schedule will be given based on needs- person must be flexible.
Overtime: Overtime will be required in January and February. Last year overtime was only 4 hours a week.

Pay: $12.56/hour paid every Friday
Contract Length: 11/09/2020 to 03/31/2021 (extension and permanent placement based on attendance and performance)

  • Delivers straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services in Customer Service.
  • Receives requests by mail, telephone, or in person regarding insurance claims/policies.
  • Responds to inquiries from policy holders, providers and/or others for information and assistance.
  • Will be receiving inbound calls from patients as a first line of customer service
  • Candidates need to be very outgoing and friendly.
  • *Some calls will be from patients who need life-sustaining medications and can be very difficult*
  • Attendance is #1 priority
  • Performs research to respond to inquiries and interprets policy provisions to determine most effective response.
  • Mails or routes claim forms and supporting documentation to various units for final processing.
  • Position typically requires excellent interpersonal skills, ability to understand and interpret policy provisions.
  • Independently responds to inquiries, grievances, complaints or appeals ranging from routine to moderate complexity. Issues tend to be routine in nature.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Customer Service and business/operating processes and procedures.
  • Works to clearly defined procedures under close supervision.
