Our client, a leader in the Social Networking and Media industry is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their team. The data analyst will be responsible for building, reporting and dashboards, and act as a knowledgeable liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience with building data pipelines and dashboards and will be comfortable working through ambiguity by using data. This individual will apply their expertise in quantitative analysis and data visualization to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with our products. RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Run SQL queries using ERP systems for data extraction, documentation and system issue support.
  • Query data and provide reports/query results to stakeholders in order to discover opportunities and address gaps.
  • Support team operations through reporting for key performance indicators across regularly and as needed across internal lines of business.
  • Business reporting and analysis, including but not limited to, sales, inventory, liability, and vendor term tracking.
  • Must be knowledgeable in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel (advanced skills), Google Sheets, and Tableau.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to meet customer needs as well as provide analytical support to ad-hoc cross-functional projects.
  • Identify and help prioritize opportunities and automate as much of the reporting as possible.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with SQL/Mysql as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy
  • Familiarity with using best practices in quantitative analysis, data mining, ETL data pipelines and presentation of data
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Minimum BA/BS in a technical field (STEM) or applicable experience in a similar field
