Our client is a major provider of medical, dental, disability, life and accident insurance and related products and services.


The Inside Sales Specialist is a licensed insurance sales agent that is responsible for receiving inbound marketing leads and making outbound calls to prospective customer through outbound sales calls. The individual will also proactively contact customers to market a full sweep of Medicare supplemental and ancillary products. This role would be seasonal lasting from 9/14 -12/10. This would be a work at home position throughout the entire seasonal contract, equipment will be provided.

  • Training will be for two weeks from 8:00 – 5:00p Monday thru Friday.
  • Candidates will work an 8-hour shift Monday thru Friday. Schedules vary from a 7am CST start to 7pm CST end
  • 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day

  • Receive calls from marketing driven leads from customers looking to receive quotes on Medicare supplemental and supplemental product line.
  • Make outbound calls to our warm database of nationwide clients in order to produce sales
  • Determine and share options to address customer's coverage needs
  • When applicable the agent will quote and enroll customers following the standard guidelines and processes governed by CMS
  • Document and track all such leads in CRM system and ensure proper follow up is done within a timely manner
  • Successfully upsell/cross sell available ancillary products
  • Participate in other assigned Sales Team projects as needed.
  • Provide feedback and guidance on market nuances, marketing campaigns and plan operations
  • Actively participate in internal sales meetings, trainings and other company events as requested
  • Consistently deliver high quality work within established time frames; willingly assist peers and management.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must have and maintain an active Life & Health insurance license
    Experience in, or understanding of, healthcare and/or insurance industry
  • Call/contact center experience
  • Working knowledge of the health insurance industry
  • Strong telephone verbal and listening skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedication and commitment to exceptional customer service when selling and servicing our customers
  • Capable of working and communicating with many people possessing diverse personalities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce
  • Understanding of the various insurance policies
