At Facebook AR/VR, we are inventing the future. We are looking for a Mixed methods UX Researcher to design and conduct research on topics such as inputs and interactions, spacial mental models, navigation, accessibility and usability.

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:
  • Synthesize internal and external research to provide clear insights
  • Help with participant screening and recruiting
  • Run study sessions to record and analyze attitudinal and behavioral data
  • Perform statistical analyses, construct plots, write study reports and prepare presentations

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • MS in Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, HCI, Perceptual Psychology, or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in UX and/or industrial design in the devices space
  • Experience working across the full product lifecycle
  • Experienced in hardware-based research
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across research and product areas
  • Knowledgeable in design of experiment using standard generative and evaluative methods
  • Experienced with performing statistical analyses
  • Flexibility to adapt and overcome obstacles inherent to working with software and hardware prototypes

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with AR/VR technologies
  • Experience or familiarity with MATLAB and/or SPSS
