Inbound Call Center Representative

About the Opportunity
The Inbound Call Center Representative is expected to manage inquiries received from consumers via inbound telephone call. The Call Center Rep must have excellent communication skills and maintain a professional and courteous tone when interacting with customers

85 - 90% of this position is answering inbound calls

Duties & Responsibilities
• Work during the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Receive and manage consumer inquires received via inbound telephone calls
• Engage consumers using the prepared script to identify the nature of the inquiry
• Diverge from the prepared script when necessary to understand the consumer need
• Service the consumer inquiry
• Record the inquiry into the consumer request audit tracking tool
• Maintain professional manner when communicating with consumers
Technical Requirements
• Experience working with Fuze telelphone and Microsoft products, such as Outlook, Word, Excel
• Experience entering data into online forms
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and active listening
• Sense of urgency supported by focused efficient approach to work
• Effective organizational skills
• Working knowledge of online tools and applications for recording work
• At least one to 3 years’ experience in a call center environment, preferably business-to-consumer
