This role is responsible for coordinating the integration of Technology Platform in Neighborhood Work Environment (NWE) projects by executing project plans, collecting user requirements, preparing participants for a move, and implementing tech trainings as outlined in the Readiness & Adoption Strategy.
The Technology Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day interactions with cross-functional teams on all scaled NWE projects.  Acting as a hub between the IT and Site Services organizations, the PM serves as a member of the project teams, coordinating technology design and ensuring clients have equipment and training needed to support their work activities in their new work environments.
General Project Coordination Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent client service to our internal clients and be responsible and proactive in completing tasks
  • Collaborate on cross-functional teams to ensure projects plans are executed on time and within budget
  • Track all items to completion and ensure effective and proactive communication with internal project team members, vendors, and clients as necessary
  • Ensure NWE standards and processes are being followed and communicate “Lessons Learned” at the end of each project to support ongoing program improvements
Focus on Technology Readiness & Adoption
  • Create high level technology package layouts for NWE, construction, and client reference
  • Coordinate technology adoption trainings with client groups
  • Review client’s equipment data (i.e. laptops and phones) and ensure users have technology needed to enable them to work in their neighborhoods
  • Communication liaison between client and internal project team members for the following tech-related items, including but not limited to:
    • Conference room technology adjustments
    • Workstation conversions from single to dual monitor or other variants
    • Digital signage
  • Participate in pre- and post-move walk-throughs to ensure technology installations are per approved scope of work and communicate scope, timing and/or scope changes to client
Key Interactions:
  • Partner with NWE Program Team and clients on:
    • Determining specific tools and training for client technology adoption
    • Determining client technology choices/decisions per project
    • Client check-ins and solution implementations post move
  • Partner with IT teams and clients on:
    • Technology infrastructure assessment 
    • Conferencing, collaboration and workstation design
    • Occupant technology equipment refresh to assure compatibility
    • Coordination of Desk Side IT support services
    • Conference room blocking for construction and available booking dates
    • Copier/Printer/Fax solutions and cut overs
    • Telephony changes from desk to mobile and cut overs
    • Training for Google products, WebEx, and other “new” solutions 
  • Partner with Construction Project Teams, IT, and vendors on:
    • Cost estimates for budgeting
    • Coordination of conferencing and workstation installations
    • Coordination of equipment with physical layout, tracking, spare parts and/or demos
    • Coordination of team room and conference room A/V equipment
  • BA/BS Degree Required
  • 3-5 years in a Project Coordination, Tech Training, or IT Support role is required 
  • 1-2 years of experience in Tech Consulting or Systems Implementations is a plus
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully multitask and able to adjust tasks in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities
  • Organized, independent, and self-motivated (entrepreneurial), and enthusiastic
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and flexible in scheduling and prioritization
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain positive internal and external relationships
  • Highly proficient with Google suite of applications, including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Google+
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word 
  • Familiarity with cloud-based collaborative tech solutions
