Summary:
The Program Manager will lead ~4-6 active projects for the Workplace Effectiveness (WE) Neighborhood Work Environments (NWE) program. They will have full responsibility for managing all the workstreams for delivery the projects, primarily the Social, Technology and Places workstreams. They will coordinate closely with Site Service partners, the NWE team, which supports the projects on the Social and Technology workstreams, and the Design and Construction team, which manages the budgeting, construction process, and the Facilities, Operations and Maintenance (FOM) support.This role is strongly customer facing.

The Program Manager, working closely with the customer aligned Planning Manager, will identify client stakeholders early in the process and develop a client core team that will last the duration of the project. All core team communications and presentations will be the responsibility of the Program Manager. The Program Manager will also coordinate and need to influence the *** client stakeholders (aka core team) to define the project scope, resolve conflicts and negotiate tradeoffs to meet budget and schedule targets.

The Program Manager will need to present to upper management for project updates and funding requests. The projects may be complex in nature, and the role requires good judgment and strategic focus to apply your experience to develop the best scope, considering ***’s broader business needs. The role requires a strong ability to oversee project teams and fully independently manage the projects with limited assistance. The Program Manager Is expected to lead projects in an independent manner, requiring feedback direction on a few issues per month from management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree - Certification in Project Management (i.e. PMI certification) or additional relevant management training desirable.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in a Project Management role
  • Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, collaborative, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of project design and management.
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and MS Excel and MS Power Point
  • This position is not eligible for relocation.
