Job Description:
  • Lead Specialists are responsible for calling potential customers (prospects) who have shown interest in an insurance (auto or property) quote through our website. These prospects have started to fill out an online quote, but did not complete the application.
  • Once the Lead Specialist connects with the prospect and confirms interest they will transfer the prospect over to a licensed agent for additional assistance.
  • They will also be responsible for answering occasional incoming calls from select states.
Expectations:
  • Make every opportunity to contact each lead assigned
  • Leave a voicemail on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th attempt to reach out in addition to leaving a voicemail when calling requested Callbacks who do not answer
Upon successful contact with the prospect:
  • If the lead wants to speak with an agent and they don't currently have a policy, transfer to sales.
  • If the lead DOES have policies, you will need to determine if they need assistance on an existing policy.
  • To make changes on a current policy, transfer to service
  • To obtain a new quote, determine who their agent is and transfer to that agent, or if no agent is listed- transfer to sales.
  • Document the call results accurately.
  • **Expectations will be set in place and monitored for transfer rates, call quality, and total amount of calls out to prospects.
Qualifications:
  • General computer knowledge as well as previous phone experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ideal candidates are customer service focused with a friendly attitude and ability to sell the value in their conversation.
  • A strong attendance record is required; the part time role requires a commitment of 20 hours a week.
