Job Description
Major purpose: Ambitious, self-motivated Manufacturing Software or IT Solutions Developer to be responsible for the design, implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing metrics, SQL databases, and report generation for electronic avionics products.
Major functions: The successful candidate is responsible for; creating SQL databases; creating queries to extract pertinent, real-time data from test results; creating scripts to pull data from various test results documents & outputs to populate the databases; creating & automating queries using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) that will be used to monitor product quality and improve test yields; statistical analysis of data and metrics; development of summary graphs and charts for engineering analysis.
Responsibilities also include; working with Engineers, technicians and management to define user requirements; investigating best practices and pre-existing solutions in statistical process control; developing SQL & Access queries needed to satisfy requirements; testing solutions to ensure that it is high quality and meets feature requirements; and documenting all metrics, database, and scripts.
Technical/Functional skills:
Education/Experience/Licenses etc.: • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Minimum 5 years experience in database and scripting development with experience in SQL Server database development
• Minimum 3 years experience in SQL Server Reporting Services and Integrations Services
Candidate must be self-motivated with good communications skills
• Experience with JMP Statistical analysis software a strong plus.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) a strong plus.

Job Description
Major purpose: Responsible for analysis of business system issues and activities of the company from analysis and requirements definition to developed solutions for the business. Database Administrator for all company business systems.
Major functions: 1. Work extensively with users, able to translate requirements into highly specified, logical and innovative solutions for complex problems.
2. Complete development assignments of a more complex nature in required language adhering to system and programming documentation standards and computer operations conventions.
3. Maintain cronjobs and monitor the success of nightly business system backups and scheduled jobs.
4. Setup, configure and maintain databases for related data systems.
5. Maintain databases to support maximum operational up-time.
6. Maintain working knowledge of all aspects of the system(s) and their impact on other areas and business practices.
7. Identify options for potential solutions, assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
8. Validate system test results to user requirements.
9. Provide technical support and training in the operation of business systems software.
10. Responsible for communication and detailed reporting of progress on projects as assigned.
11. Thorough testing and documented procedure to ensure completion of projects and standardization.
12. Follow-up evaluation of systems effectiveness and performance after system implementation has occurred including modifications if necessary.
13. Respond to technical situations in a timely manner giving accurate and concise assistance.
14. Prepare flow charts, writes instructions/procedures for end users.
15. Occasionally will be required to perform duties outside regular business hours.
16. Coordinate testing and implementation of ERP software (MTO, KCI, TIPQA, Agile PLM, etc.) updates.
17. Act as a liaison between PPI and Software Consultants.
18. Establish and maintain user (security matrix) profiles.
19. Troubleshoot data discrepancies and system performance issues.

4. Ability to develop reports utilizing SQL & COGNOS tools.
5. Ability to interface extensively with users.
6. Good personal and communication skills are a must.
7. Must understand Business applications in a Government Contracting and Manufacturing environment.
8. Knowledge of JDA MTO Business System software is a plus
9. Able to document and write procedures.
10. Must be able to communicate clearly and work in highly demanding environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent in related field from two-year college or technical school. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must have five (5) or more years related experience and/or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals/documentation, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Possess basic arithmetical skills and have ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
