Accounts Payable Speciliast/inSync Payroll Specialist
The Accounts Payable Specialist/inSync Payroll Specialist is responsible for all Accounts Payable functions for CoreTech, XSell and inSync Staffing. In addition, this position is also responsible for processing the payroll for inSync and all that surrounds the processing of a payroll.
Accounts Payable:
• Accounts Payable functions including 1099 payments on a weekly basis for three companies.
• Obtain invoices and process
o see if approval has been received, has invoice been recorded or paid before, ensure charges are valid
o enter to correct accounts on the GL,
o queue items for payment on the daily cash
o pay on due date (cut the check/ach/wire transfer)
o record payment in quickbooks and in the bank website
o update daily cash
• Updating daily cash for three companies
• Updating outstanding check lists for all three companies
• Other duties as assigned
inSync Payroll:
• Gathering of time data from multiple sources.
• Consolidating all time data into one file for upload into ADP payroll system and making modifications within ADP to ensure payroll is processed correctly, this could include but is not limited to:
o W4 updates
o Direct Deposit changes
o Benefit/401k deduction updates
• Following up with recruiters and sales reps on questions regarding time that may be missing or unapproved.
• Processing manual checks in the event they are needed.
• Mailing of manual checks every Thursday.
• Record-keeping for payroll once it is processed.
• Update and upload 401k file on a weekly basis with payroll deduction information.
The qualifications we are looking for include:
• A four-year degree or equivalent experience (experience with ADP payroll system is a plus).
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work with deadlines.
