QC Inspector II

6:00am to 2:30pm - a standard work week is Mon – Fri. Sat and Sun may be required depending on production needs​


A typical work day will involve testing and inspection of cast turbine blades in 3 different phases. The phases are un-coated, drilled, and final coated parts inspection. The incumbent will utilize water flow/air flow testing, borescopes, pan weight scales, gages, and aided/unaided visual inspection. The environment is clean, quiet, and air conditioned.

The specific SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are: Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to accurately interpret blueprint and/or work in-process documents. Basic math skills. Basic clerical skills.
Moving items (10-35 lbs) from shelving to work bench and back (10-20 ft). Personal protective equipment (PPE) required for this position is: Eye and hearing protection in designated areas.

The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS preferred for this position are: FAA Approved Signature List and/or FAA Airframe and CQI PowerPlant. Certify visual acuity to NAS-410.
