Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional

Allstates Consulting Services is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional to support our client, on a contract basis, in the Atlanta, GA (Buckhead area).

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional will perform environmental compliance and industrial hygiene duties for our Client and their Office of Safety to assist with the Environmental Health & Safety Unit's day-to-day compliance responsibilities.

The Professional will:
  • Conduct EHS inspections, audits, training sessions, hazardous material surveys, indoor environmental quality assessments, and other related duties as assigned.
  • Assist the EHS Unit with data collection and metrics·related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental remediation, industrial hygiene, and/or hazardous materials management.
  • Experience conducting EHS inspections and audits (is required)
  • OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training and current certification (is required)
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with all MS Office programs is necessary, including familiarity with SharePoint
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task are essential
    The following certifications are desirable, but not required:
Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Professional Geologist or Asbestos Inspector

  • Documentation management and control; and writing reports, procedures, compliance plans, and educational materials.·
Safety is in need of two (2) resources for this position.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, or a
  • Perform EHS inspections, audits, and produce associated documentation
  • Conduct hazardous material surveys, industrial hygiene assessments, indoor environmental quality assessments, etc.·
  • Assist with management of EHS documentation and records·
  • Write reports, procedures, plans, and educational materials
