Hi, I'm currently staffing for a Hyperion Planning Administrator role for our direct client in Philadelphia, PA. This is a contract to hire opportunity located in Center City, Philadelphia. Please find below the job description,

Role Purpose: Administration of Oracle EPBCS application used in delivery of Budget and Forecast. Responsibilities include ongoing maintenance and support of all systems. Serve as the primary interface between the user community and IT Group.

Required Skills:
  • Hands-on delivery / administration experience with Oracle/Hyperion Planning, preferably EPBCS, including form development and maintenance and data integrity management
o Experience configuring and administrating the Financial, Workforce and Capital frameworks of EPBCS
o Experience in managing integration with source systems using Data Management and EPM Automate
o Hands-on building Oracle/Hyperion Financial Reports including snapshots, graphs, books and distribution automation
o Hands-on building Oracle/Hyperion Smart View for Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
o Skilled in development / maintenance of Essbase calculation scripting, data loading, optimization, automation and backup/restore
o Strong functional background of Budgeting and Planning processes
o Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
o Training experience for end users
o Oracle Shared Services and Life Cycle Management experience
o Excellent documentation skills

General Skills:
o Strong communication skills both written and oral
o Interact comfortably with both IT constituents and functional users
o Strong organizational skills

Maintenance Skills:
o Understanding of Budget / Forecast process from both a functional and systematic perspective including process flows
o Ability to work with infrastructure team (IT server support) including high level understanding of system architecture and design
o Ability to set standards on how to make changes in a production environment

o Ability to ask the appropriate questions of functional users to define business requirements (lead scoping discussions)
o Conceptualize business requirements into design (building prototypes)
o Ability to create dynamic solutions based on complex design
