Project Coordinator - Richardson

 The main function of a Project Coordinator is to work closely with project managers, functional managers, accounting staff, and installation supervisors to support the successful and timely delivery of projects. 
 
Responsibilities:
Monitor and integrate status updates from correspondence, meetings, and status reports.  Effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels and disciplines to gather inputs on progress and performance.  Keep project documentation up to date.  Assist in tracking and documenting project risks, issues and milestones.  Assist with managing small scale projects under the guidance of a project manager.  Assist Project Manager with the following administrative tasks: Materials/logistic, Customer Invoicing (knowledge of AIA Schedule of Values a plus), Ensure timely receipt of field documentation (redlines, cable test results, etc), Receipt and processing of installer invoicing.  Assist in preparing written project communication materials.  Complete tasks accurately, professionally, efficiently, and punctually  Support the cross-functional team in a helpful and positive manner
 
Skills:
Understanding of the Project Lifecycle (PLC), Project & Portfolio Management processes & best practices required. Effective communicator at all levels of the organization (team member to Sr. leadership) Strong Teamwork skills Ability to allocate time efficiently, handle multiple demands and competing priorities Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and Visio Excellent business acumen and technical aptitude.
 
Industry experience;
Solid understanding of the telecommunications or structured cabling industry
 
Education/Experience:
2-4 years experience working with projects and reporting of the project lifecycle
 
8hrs/day 40hr/week 8AM-5PM, No OT planned, but possible.

Top required Skills needed:
-Needs to be proficient in Excel- intermediate formulas, v-lookup, knowledge of project scheduling, smartsheets, and smartsheets as scheduling.
-Need somebody who has some ability to think and make decisions on their own.
-Any experience in cost accounting.
-Basic fundamentals in Microsoft Office
-Have to be well organized.
-Basic project management skills.
