Location: Richardson, Texas
Responsible for sourcing all indirect spend goods and services for the company.  Responsibilities include issuing of RFX's, price negotiation, contract development, supplier performance reviews, and issuing of purchase orders.  Commodities may include professional services such as consultants, IT hardware and software, capital equipment, engineering outsourcing, facilities services and support, software licenses, and other indirect spend commodities.   
Responsibilities include: 
  • Assist departments in making informed, best value decisions and to secure products and services in the most efficient manner.
  • Manage the strategic sourcing process for Indirect Expenses.
  • Review departmental spend reports to identify potential savings opportunities.
  • RFX preparation and issuing for outsourcing engineering hardware and software development. 
  • Conduct formal bid processes in an open and competitive manner without favoritism based on the dollar value of an upcoming Indirect Expense or upon request.
  • Assist stakeholders in selecting the vendor based on value.
  • Assist Stakeholders and coordinate with Legal in the negotiation of contracts, including any related statements of work (SOW) or purchase orders.
  • Manage performance of Indirect Expense vendors.
  • Conduct Supplier Performance Reviews (SPR's) with our internal business units and key suppliers.
  • Collaborate with other Fujitsu entities to maximize overall savings.
  • Request and review documentation related to all purchases from the stakeholder or vendor.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to track contract renewal or expiration dates to ensure FNC has an opportunity to determine future value of any ongoing Indirect Expenses.
  • Bachelor's degree, related to Business, Supply Chain, or Economics.
  • 2 - 4 years' purchasing experience working indirect spend suppliers.
  • Ability to negotiate number of different commodities such as professional services (ie. consultants), IT hardware and software, capital equipment, engineering outsourcing, facilities services and support
  • Excellent communication skills, (written, verbal, presentation).
  • Strong attention to details, highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Office, Strong Excel Skills, & SAP knowledge.
  • Effective and consistent follow-up skills, proven multi-tasking and project management abilities
  • Level of understanding of contract terms, experience in negotiating with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
