Cyber Security Consultant

Allstates Consulting Services is seeking a local Cyber Security Consultant to assist our client located in Atlanta, GA (Buckhead area).  The Cyber Security Consultant will assist with helping complete a comprehensive and functional cyber security program that will pass a CSET-based audit.  This will be a holistic effort touching all facets, combining several disparate cyber security projects into a single program.
The Cyber Security Consultant will:
  • Conduct Vulnerability assessment scans for the client authority
  • Produce Remediation reports
  • Work with I.T. staff to produce roadmaps for remediation of identified risks in all vulnerabilities by categorizing and analyzing systems and risk. 
  • In addition, the positon will assist the Chief  Information Security Officer (CISO) to address any network security corrective actions and work with I.T. and project management staff, in accordance with the Cyber Security Project Plan.
Deliverable to include:
  • Attend Enterprise Security Risk Management (ERM) team meetings
  • Carry out assignments to improve cyber security of all Client networks
  • Analyze vulnerability scan reports, research affected systems and create remediation schedule based up criticality and risk
  • Manage remediation efforts
  • Assist in building vulnerability intelligence program; monitoring system for threats to analyze
  • Produce metrics and reports
The Cyber Security Consultant will also support the facilitation cross-functional teams that are tasked with planning, and coordination to incorporate cyber security into Legacy,  In-Progress, and Pre-procurement control  systems, enterprise systems  and other critical  security  related systems in the Client.
  • Provide additional document control support in support of major events such as Super Bowl LIII, to include incident response monitoring.
•     5 or more year's technical Information Security experience
•     CISSP, CISM, or ECIH certification; experience in lieu of certification will be taken into consideration.
•     Qualys vulnerability scan tool experience required
Additional Details:
Consultant should submit a weekly Progress Report in Oracle inclusive of all deliverables completed in this contract, along with the time that is billed for the week.
Consultant will provide monthly Status Report to the Project Manager detailing their milestones, challenges and significant updates.
This is a 37.5 hour per week, 1875 hour effort over the next 10-12 months
