Office Assistant

Working Days/Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch (7.5 hours per day.)

1) Answer phones & use judgement and discretion to direct calls as appropriate or take accurate and comprehensive messages as necessary.
2) Serve as first point of contact to all visitors to the Deans Office and assist visitors in preparation for scheduled meetings with the Dean or appropriate staff members.
3) Provide administrative assistance to Dean and to Dean's executive staff including producing a variety of business correspondence, reports and related materials.
4) Will provide logistical support for visitors to campus (parking reservations as well as escort service as required).
5) Sort and distribute incoming mail.
6) Maintain inventory of office supplies and request refill orders as necessary.
