Change Management Project Manager

Location: Hartford, Connecticut

The responsibilities of the individual are typical for change management: planning, stakeholder identification, developing communications and training plans, addressing resistance, measuring and addressing readiness gaps, and monitoring outcomes.
Payroll experience is not required. Some experience in finance projects is desirable, to enable familiarity with the language/lexicon. Certification in a change management methodology is also preferred.


On site - a few days a week in Connecticut

There will be changes that they experience
Those employees 8,000 in Iowa and several 20 +K in the US overall
Different service centers and manufacturers
While they are planning all that from Connecticut in conjunction with those in Cedar Rapids.
A lot of the meeting are heavily teleconferenced
It's the kind of position where there could be a remote component but some face time in Connecticut and they must be flexible on travel to cedar rapids - 1 X per month
If they are within a drivable range to Connecticut that will work
Closer to the Boston area could work, they could come down a few times a week (longer drive but only a few times per week)
UTC will reimburse for travel
"Dress for your day” is their moto- depends on who your meeting with (Business Casual)
Sometimes independent work and sometimes speaking with people at a Sr level.
It is an aggressive time frame
The acquisition has not yet officially closed
It's a situation where there is only so much that can happen but once it does the flood gates will open
They need to not get rattled and be able to manage multiple work streams and activities
Should be agile and organized
Having a certification or methodology is helpful
