Technical Support - POS

This Analyst will work closely with Business Analyst, Project Leads, and Management to develop and maintain POS Menu Data and Implementation information, its supporting systems, and processes and users who consume it. As such, this position will work primarily, but not exclusively, with Micros Simphony 1.x, 2.x and other interfaced systems in support of Aramark's critical POS mission. Ideal candidates will have the opportunity to configure these systems and support our users of afore mentioned systems, while working within teams and independently.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage POS menu update requests, taking requests from a support queue
  • Communicate changes effectively through Email, Phone, and Service Now
  • Enterprise support (level 1 and 2), data management
  • Project work and documentation
  • Lead menu deployment calls, work with project teams on POS menu execution
  • Interface with Aramark operational teams, their clients / customers and vendors
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with data management software including MS Excel and others.
  • Ability to excel in a project based environment
  • Ability to learn Industry Standard and Proprietary software, ie MICROS
  • Working knowledge of a POS system preferred
  • Strong oral, written and technical writing communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to see the big picture
  • Quick learner and self-starter
