Location: Port Gibson, Mississippi
Large Energy client seeks multiple outage specialists to join their team in Mississippi. Need multiple pp that can supervise project installation and inspection activities. Construction or Project Manager backgrounds can and will be used as well. Civil / Mechanical / Electrical too. Need to have worked a minnimum of 6 Nuclear plant outages. 10 weeks. 80 hours a week. Excellent opportunity!

Job responsibilities for Implementer:
  • Implements projects in accordance with regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates activities to minimize plant and system downtime and maximize plant power generation.
  • Develops and maintains tools to improve the efficiency of performing project work. Reviews and evaluates performance of the project staff and contractors.
  • Oversees procedures and documentation which govern and control project activities.
  • Recommends necessary project training as required.
  • Proposes project changes which improve efficiency and safety. Interfaces with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of project activities. Communicates technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing. Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.

Job responsibilities for CM/ PM/ Civil/ Mechanical:
  • Standard role in outages. Work closely with team. Safety conscious and good communication is number! (You've either done it or you haven't... your resume tells the story and the interview confirms it. Please only serious applications.).
  • Ability to work long hours with a knack for detail.

Minimum experience required of the position
  • 10 years experience in nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, project management, operations, Production, or equivalent.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
  • Need to have worked a minnimum of 6 Nuclear plant outages.
  • Technical proficiency in engineering project management. Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation. Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills. Proficiency with current computer business applications.
