Communications Specialist

The  communication specialist is a high energy, innovative, creative individual responsible for supporting strategic internal communication to support and lift employee engagement.  
This individual will serve as a go-to writer and resource for project coordination and support of key stakeholders, including the People and Transformation leadership team and centers of excellence.  We are looking to create new ways to communicate and engage our employees, and someone ready to assist in building a program.

Support content strategy and editorial plans for all employee communication.
Assist with messaging for topics including policy, culture, initiatives and other areas of strategic importance as directed by leadership team and centers of excellence.
Promote employee engagement and culture action plans with strong communications components.
Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and all businesses and align with external communication messages.
Work with other communications teams to assure the consistent and cohesive use of the Company brand, in internal communication, and building employee brand.
Provide project coordination to key stakeholders in leadership and centers of excellence and other departments as needed to understand upcoming initiatives and/or changes; develop integrated communication plans, then execute.
Support new approaches to deliver communication in more efficient and effective ways by challenging processes and recommending new approaches.
Work with social media platforms.
Help create compelling communication for all employees by connecting the dots so employees have a better understanding of business strategy, People & Transformation initiatives and their benefits. 

Bachelor's Degree, journalism or communications preferred.
3+ years' professional experience.
Must understand and embrace AP style of writing.
Must have proven writing and editing skills, as well as effective content strategy and planning abilities.
Must be proactive, self-motivated, and problem-solving; and must possess an impeccable attention to detail. 
Must possess outstanding collaboration skills and a creative mindset.
