 This position is responsible for a Shared Services IT Program.  The individual in this position is responsible for program coordination, client service management, program performance, satisfaction, and providing staff/vendor/system management. Ideal candidates will have strong written/verbal communication skills, and will have had hands-on IT management experience in multi-site, global IT environments. This individual should expect to develop and maintain regular program status reporting procedures, and adhere to IT operation/documentation/compliance requirements, and established policies and procedures.

 Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work effectively with senior management to develop strategy, architecture, and opportunities for support regarding the Shared Services IT program.
  • Perform as the senior technical resource.
  • Continually work with third-party vendors to identify technical solutions, support infrastructures, and purchasing opportunities to deliver a scalable, cost effective program.
  • Effectively manage all assigned IT resources – people, projects, contractors, technology and budget.
  • Maintain professional and effective relationships with assigned locations.
  • Ensure that the program meets governance, security, compliance, cost, quality and service targets.
  • Maintain competency with current IT trends and technologies.
  • Maintain documentation on initiatives, programs and strategies.
  • Manage process of monthly, quarterly, and annual questionnaire review for completeness.
  • Prioritize initiatives to ensure optimum benefit of IT resources and technology.
  • Management of the supported program service assets.
  • Adhere to applicable regulatory and compliance related operating requirements.

Skills/Experience Needed:
  • A working knowledge of current computer and communications technologies and disciplines, including Security, Cloud, Servers, Storage, Networking, Data Centers, Messaging, and Managed Services.
  • Understanding of Cloud, Cybersecurity, High Availability, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery concepts as they relate to business requirements and enterprise architecture.
  • Current and future state knowledge of technologies used in like companies and the IT industry in general.
  • Strong system engineering skills with an emphasis on overall enterprise scale architecture.
  • Experience with cloud integration and strategy experience with an overall understand of integrating security with cloud design and implementation.
  • 7-10 years of relevant and progressive experience in a hybrid-cloud computing environment is preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated skills in tools and techniques appropriate to the above job duties.
  • Experience with financial services based companies.
  • Experience operating as a technology consultant with international clients is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice in IT and industry.
  • Consensus and Collaboration builder -- Manages staff and executive expectations, understands each unique business requirements, determine cost impact of requests/services, and define product & service delivery standards to ensure high quality client service by working with others in the broader IT organization(s).
