Job Description:
Position in IT Customer Support providing support to Harris user community in IT contract administration, license management, and software/hardware provisioning.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for processing IT requests for both software and hardware. Request processing involves interfacing with users and management regarding specifics of need, assisting in getting various levels of approvals, and working with vendors to quote, receive, and provision software and hardware.
  • Individual must be able to evaluate user requirements, at times to research appropriate options to resolve requests, and prepare justification for IT approval based on needs and IT guidelines.
  • Individual will participate in special projects, to include but not limited to: fiscal year end processing; program startup and pricing support; software license optimization, recovery and reuse; compliance audits as needed; and assisting Engineering teams and Management on other initiatives as required.
  • Individual must also be able to: accurately update various databases with asset, purchase, and license information in a timely fashion; and to accurately maintain pertinent financial records for IT budget accountability.

Position Requirements

Formal Education, Certification, & Citizenship
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or similar field
Must be a US Citizen.
1 - 3 years' work experience in IT hardware and/or software provisioning.
Experience working from a ticketing system
Experience working with a heavy work load
