Our Team Reporting to the Director, Business Architecture & Process and based in Redwood City, CA, you will be a key member of a high impact service organization who are aligned in several geographically dispersed centers in over 28 countries that support an employee base of over 4,100 people. Our team is responsible for supporting strategic planning and providing implementation guidance for all enterprise wide transformational programs and long-range planning by using Informatica's BOST enterprise architecture methodology. Your Opportunity Informatica leverages its own BOST Framework to support cross-functional transformation and long-range planning. You will be a member of business architecture team and a key contributor in demonstrating the Informatica-on-Informatica story. Our Ideal Candidate • Deep expertise in two or more business capability domains (e.g. strategic plan, product development, demand generation, customer success, back office operations) but fluency in all business capability domains. • Understanding of internet/software industry, related technology trends, and the relevance to business. Expertise in most soundness disciplines (availability, security, etc.) and operations disciplines (business operations, systems management, change management, etc.). • Experienced in executive communication related to supporting strategy setting and driving operational changes. • Expertise in most business architecture areas, including business operations design and governance. • Skills in directing large/complex federated teams comprised of matrixed reports and 3rd parties; large program implementation skills, including risk management, project and portfolio management, planning, and reporting. • Ability to mentor team members of multiple teams at multiple levels. • Ability to drive organization-wide change, driven by significant, innovative ideas. Your Responsibilities • Work with a function and executive leadership to drive and influence business strategy and requirements. • Provide complete business and operational architecture solutions for an in-transition enterprise. • Lead formulation of one or more highly complex business transformation programs with major impacts to critical service functions that impact Informatica's Operating Model. • Apply thought leadership in improving operational capabilities and service function performance across Informatica organizations. Gain a high level of influence with senior leadership and act in the role of "executive coach. " • Influence and advise the engagement team(s), Program Managers, and Committees to craft and deliver business value justification, solution architecture & integration, business process change, IT/Business governance, and organizational change management. • Provide cross functional support in driving Business and related IT strategy and requirements. Create conceptual and logical architectures for the solution. Coordinate closely with an arbitrary number of parties across Informatica and Informatica partners in crafting and building the optimal business and system architecture. Apply operational experience in building solutions while leveraging the work of multiple projects for new solutions. • Coach and mentor other Business Architects and Process Analysts. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or related area. • 7 or more years working experience in a combination of business or IT consulting, business operations or integration role, compliance, and operations management roles. • Track record of responsibility for managing or influencing organization-wide change. • Able to take ownership and responsibility for actions, behaviors and contributors; proven client service delivery capabilities. • Strongly preferred: business process methodology/framework knowledge.
