Bill Rate Range: $73.00-83.00/hr
Minimum Rate Range: $53.68-69.93/hr
Location: Remote – will need to work in Eastern time zone
Duration: 33 weeks (4/30/19 estimated end date) – possible extension
U.S. Citizenship Required?: Yes – Must note at the top of the resume!
Schedule: M-F Eastern Time – weekend hrs as required for Project tasks
Background: Additional backgrounds screens, including fingerprinting, with the State will be required; Client will be coordinating the extra screens with the contractor directly (outside of Pinnacle MSP).
Travel: Could possibly have some minimal travel. It is not a requirement and if the resource is unable to travel it would not be an issue. If there is travel that the contractor agrees to, it would be 1-2 trips, 3-4 days per trip – Client will cover the cost.

Top Skill Sets – REQUIRED:
o 8 to 10 Years of overall experience in IT Services and Systems management including server management
o 6 to 8 years supporting Nagios Enterprise Monitoring tool.
o Advanced skills in scripting languages such as, PowerShell, Perl, Python VBScript and JScript.
o UNIX and Windows Server Administration experience required.
o ServiceNow and ServiceNow Event Management knowledge a plus.

Key responsibilities / outcomes:
Ø The position is in the Monitoring team providing end to end monitoring and event integration services which include:
o Requirements gathering
o Ongoing business as usual support
o Continued Service Improvement
Ø Apply their skills and experience to deliver services utilizing various monitoring tool environments, primarily Nagios and other open source tools and SolarWinds, but could also be required to support other monitoring tools.
Ø The person must have an understanding of the requirements for event integration, define, configure and script as necessary to meet requirements.
Ø Initiate, propose and work collaboratively to develop, guide and implement Monitoring tool improvement initiatives to enhance Automation by streamlining the activities to reshape processes.
Ø Take ownership for delivery of the services for multiple clients and projects at the same time. They must be able to understand what is required, communicate and collaborate as needed, and work independently.
Ø They will be interacting with various Client resources; peers, all technical towers, project and delivery managers.
Ø The position may be client facing at times.
Ø Solve complex problems across, tools, platforms, organizations and companies.
Ø Evaluate and analyze the Monitoring tools and fine tune the overall performance.
Ø Track Monitoring tool systems' capacity and propose appropriate measures proactively
Ø Installation and configuration of new Monitoring tools added to the Monitoring suite of tools.
Ø Keep monitoring tools upgraded to current support levels.
Ø Work with other cross-functional teams to provide seamless Service Delivery
Ø Communicate issues and solutions that may impact the team.
Ø Acts as advisor to management on advanced technical research studies and applications.
Ø May provide work leadership for lower level employees.
Ø Execute Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management in line with ITIL Standards
Ø Handle technical escalations from Level 1 and Level 2 teams
Ø Available for on-call support
Ø Must be a US citizen.

Ø Excellent written and Oral Communication Skills- Ability to clearly articulate situations / issues
