Senior Analyst, Portfolio Management

This position will manage the overall trade dress (physical and packaging attributes of the drug) approval process and work with cross-functional teams to define the trade dress for generic products. Perform routine research and maintain a report competitive intelligence by utilizing several secondary resources (databases include but not limited to Evaluate, FDA, IMS, Pharma Circle etc).
Additionally, assist with Portfolio Management activities with regards to research and product analysis of the US Generic portfolio. Duties will include but are not limited to: identify product opportunities, maintaining and updating project information in database, build forecasts and business cases, and preparing ad-hoc reports for Portfolio Management team.
Major Accountabilities
- Manage Trade Dress approval process by evaluating development proposals and working with cross-functional teams to get alignment.
Collaborate with internal groups to understand any requirements from marketing, regulatory, production, and trademark restrictions.
Coordinate approval of trade dress by key internal stakeholders within the given timeframe.
Lead cross-functional meetings and discussions, and foster good working relationships with R&D, Regulatory, Legal, Marketing and Development.
Complete required documentation to create NDC numbers and embossment codes, gather and verify product details to ensure information is correct
Manage a database of current product trade dress information. Maintain thorough and organized files
Perform a Competitive intelligence scan on routine basis
Independently set up news alerts and search updates daily to stay abreast on industry news for pipeline products
Be able to gather information effectively and distribute with a sense of urgency
Maintain, update, and deliver on regular basis an internal report with any relevant updates to internal stakeholders to make informed decisions
- Assist with Portfolio Management activities to identify new product development opportunities
- Build product forecasts and business cases based on market intelligence and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prepare power point slides from all data collected from cross functional teams. Proficient in developing and managing Excel databases
- Collect, update, and maintain project information to be input into multiple databases
- Proficient in written and oral communication so that messages are understood by all levels in the company
