- Identify opportunities and subsequently lead start-to-finish development and continuous improvement processes of new reports, analyses and analytical models. - Develop and Enhance custom web based reporting platform (.NET + SQL + Javascript/AngularJS/PHP) - Lead complex process improvement and project management engagements for both individual business units and cross-divisional initiatives. - Effectively utilize other team members to complete projects and achieve objectives. - Interface with business unit leaders to develop and maintain internal customer relationships. - Frequently present findings to senior OAP and business unit leaders with Manager input. - Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Delta’s Operational Analytics Technical Analyst program places candidates in the Operations Analysis & Performance (OAP) group. This group provides analytical support across all major operational areas of the company. Program placement spans across the full range of Delta’s operation, and focuses on: • Operations Performance – Locates and improves upon data sources to develop automated reporting and analysis tools including email reports, scorecards, dashboards, and ad hoc business unit needs.

Quals--
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics or other relevant quantitative field required and 2+ years of experience in software development, analysis, information science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field. Previous airline experience preferred. Track record of seeking leadership roles including student and community organizations preferred. Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings and frequently presenting to leaders. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position. Successful candidates will have an advanced level of understanding and experience with most, if not all, of the following: - Knowledge on .Net Framework, ASP.NET, SQL, REST services, Javascript, AngularJS, PHP - SAS, R or other database interface tools and languages. - Visual Basic, Python or other basic functional programming tools. - Knowledge of Statistical analysis and modeling including Linear Regression, Segmentation, non-linear predictive (e.g. Logistic) regression and machine learning.
