Position Description
***This job req is subject to overtime discounts (0.95x exempt; 1.35x non-exempt) and a 10% discount after six months of service***
Bill Rate Range: $63.50-89.00/hr (2 contractors are needed are different skill set and pay levels; We need to try to stay below $80/hr bill, if possible)
Location: 100% Remote. Multiple end clients that are based on Georgia, Kansas, and Virginia. Preferably will need to work near one of the end client locations (same or neighboring state).
Duration: Long term, C2H for high performers.
U.S. Citizenship Required?: Yes – Must note at the top of the resume!
Background: Additional backgrounds screens with the State will be required; details pending (likely fingerprinting)

Principal Responsibilities
· Design and Implementation of various EMC and IBM Storage Systems and Brocade/CISCO SAN Fabric Switches based on client requirements
· Demonstrate a high degree of creativity in performing tasks by identifying, proposing and implementing streamlining activities to reshape technology and processes
· Migration of Storage Systems from Older to Newer Generation based systems
· Handle the responsibilities of being a Technical Interface for Specific Clients
· On-going Administration of EMC and IBM SAN Storage Environments
· Perform Troubleshooting of Problems / Errors in SAN Storage Systems
· Installation and Configuration of new Storage Systems and Environments
· Conduct Periodic Performance Analysis and fine tune the Overall Performance
· Plan and Implement Critical Projects in the Storage SAN Technical environment
· Execute Incident management, Change Management and Problem management in line with ITIL Standards
· Track Storage Systems’ Capacity and Propose Appropriate Measures proactively
· Act as a Technical Lead and work with other Technical Team Members within the Storage team
· Demonstrate a high degree of creativity in performing tasks by identifying, proposing and implementing streamlining activities to reshape processes.
· Work with other cross-functional teams to provide seamless Service Delivery
· Communicate issues and solutions that may impact the team.
· Provide weekly and Monthly status reports on projects
Skills Required
· 12 + Years of overall Experience in IT Services and Systems Management
· 8 + Years of extensive experience in Storage Management on EMC and IBM Storage Technologies
· Design and Implementation of Solutions and Migrations around EMC VNX, EMC Unity, IBM XIV, IBM SVC, EMC Isilon Storage arrays
· Brocade and CISCO SAN Switch Fabric Administration
· IBM XIV and IBM SVC Storage Configuration and Administration
· EMC VNX and EMC Unity Configuration and Administration
· EMC Recover Point Implementation and Administration
· EMC Time Finder and SRDF Administration
· Very Good Knowledge with ITIL Processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management). Preferably ITIL Foundation Certified.
· Knowledge in using Service Management Tool like Remedy, Service Center etc.
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Should have worked in a Remote Support Environment
· Ability to clearly articulate situations / issues to cross-functional teams and clients
