Associate, IT Security - (Enterprise Computer Security Admin Support)

1st shift 8a-5p – 5/8 M-F

This is a Level 1 role responsible for the administration and support of enterprise computer security including Windows, Harris business applications, etc. Provides data access and problem resolution to user community and Service Desk. Creates, terminates, purges and maintains accounts for approximately 25,000 users. Tracks and acts upon incidents and service requests from/to the Service Desk and other service departments.

Duties include:
  • Responsible for all Harris account maintenance, remote access, network file security and application access control for key business applications to include Windows Active Directory, PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, SAP, Hyperion, Control 2010, and CRM.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve application security issues.
  • Create accounts for network services and applications, based on approved service request(s)
  • Grant remote access and network security file access based on approved service request(s)
  • Responsible for account maintenance for all applications for employees, consultants, contractors, customers, government personnel, government customers, sub-contractors, teammates, and vendors.
  • Verify validity of information for account creation for all Harris new hires.
  • Projects as required to assist Information Security Systems Security Analysts with the implementation of new, acquired or upgraded systems.

  • B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or an equivalent IT related degree, plus 2 years of related experience of equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Systems, to include creating new user accounts, granting security file access, and removing application access for terminated employees within Windows.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Active Directory.
- Minimum of 6 months experience using a Service Desk ticketing system (Remedy, Service Now, etc.).
- Must have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, adapting quickly to changing Situations.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must have a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
- Must have a commitment to quality and accuracy in all areas of responsibility.

- Must be willing to keep data and information strictly confidential.
- Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills
  • Experience with ITIL and/or ISO2000 a plus.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials, SAP, Control 2010 and/or CRM is highly recommended.
  • MCSE, MCP, Security+ or any additional related IT certificates are helpful.
