· Thorough knowledge of Military and Industrial Specs and Standards (ASME, Mil Spec, ISO, etc.)
· Thorough knowledge of Model Based Definition best practices.
· Experienced with CAD systems (Creo preferred, AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWORKS, etc.).
· Experienced with PDM Systems (Agile, Windchill, etc.).
· Expert Level GD&T Knowledge (ASME GD&T Certification GDTP-1994 or GDTP-2009 Senior Level preferred, but not required).
· Expert in Drawing standards and interpretation.
· Thorough knowledge of Machine Shop practices (Machined parts, Cast parts, Molded parts or 3D printed parts).
· Experienced Design Lead, Supervisor or manager preferred.
· Generate, Track and Report Metrics.
· Mentor less experienced Designers/Engineers in Design and Modeling methods.
· Generate and/or review Tolerance Stackups, based on Design Intent and Function.

Candidates located in Brevard county preferred. Candidates will relocate at their own expense if not located in Brevard county. Is your candidate located in Brevard county or willing to relocate at their own expense?
Years of relevant experience as a design reviewer/checker?
Do they have a strong knowledge of GD&T applications? Years of experience?
Do they have a strong knowledge of how parts are made? Years of experience?
How many years of experience do they have checking designs from other designers/engineers? (This is a pilot program to find defects related to drafting and tolerance mistakes).
Have they held a role in the past checking designs? (They MUST have experience where this is/was their primary role in their position)
Rank their SME experience as Intermediate or Advanced? (STRONG GD&T experience since they will be the SME and should be able to hit the ground running)
Do they have a GD&T certification or formal GD&T training? (This is a big plus)
Do they have higher level drawing verification experience?
Do they have some type of leadership experience as a drawing checker?
Years of tolerance analysis experience?
Years of Electrical and Mechanical drawing experience? (A big plus)
What is their highest level of education? (A degree is not required)
