As an Editor/Writer on the Portfolio Marketing team (reporting to the Campaigns and Content Manager), you will be responsible for editing and writing source content and providing content support across the Portfolio Marketing team.

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has great skills with editing and writing across various marketing content types (i.e. eBooks, infographics, brochures, white papers datasheets, solution briefs, exec briefs, etc.). The ideal candidate will be able to translate and simplify technical writing into customer-facing content, so that business folks (not just IT) can also understand what we do at Informatica. And of course, we'd love someone who is collaborative, has a passion for editing/writing, and is able to stick to timelines and get projects done in an efficient manner!

Your Responsibilities

• Edit existing source content created by the Portfolio Marketing team
• Write/create new content driven by information provided by knowledge experts
• Make sure language, style and messaging is consistent and follows our Informatica brand/messaging
• Work with our amazing, product-knowledge experts in the Portfolio Marketing team
• Continually monitor content quality and report any feedback to Campaigns and Content Manager

Your Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of experience with editing/writing across various marketing content types (addressing tech/IT/business target audience is a plus)
• Knowledge of B2B marketing experience, preferably in technology is a plus
• Knowledge of Chicago Manual Style is a plus and being grammar-savvy is highly preferred!
• BA or BS, equivalent to English, Journalism, Marketing or Business (or related field) is required
• Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Easily collaborate with various team members
• Ability to digest feedback, communicate clearly, and keep a positive attitude
• Attention to detail
• Ability to translate technical language into a great story that business folks can understand

Top must-have skills: 1) Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) equivalent to English, Journalism, Marketing or Business (or related field) is required 2) Experience with editing/writing across all marketing content types and collateral (i.e. eBooks, infographics, white papers, data sheets, brochures, exec briefs, solution briefs, etc.) 3)Ability to transform technical language into a great story that business folks can understand 4) Background experience working with tech companies/writing for the IT audience in the Silicon Valley (IBM, Cisco, VMware, ServiceNow, etc.) is a plus 5)Having knowledge of Chicago Manual Style is a plus and being grammar-savvy is highly preferred
