This HL is currently seeking a Benefits Analyst to assist during their open enrollment period. Ideal candidates will have a minimum or 2-3 years experience in a Benefits Analyst role. Candidates must have excellent MS Office proficiency, in particular with Excel.

REQUIRED: Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Bachelor's Degree
NICE TO HAVE: Oracle

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

-Serve as the subject expert matter in administration of health & welfare plans including flexible spending and voluntary and life insurance plans
-Support ongoing benefit initiatives and develop standard operating procedures
-Supports Benefits Team in providing exemplary customer service to all internal and external employees
-Exercise the ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse employee and retiree population to help them make educated decisions about their benefits
-Advise terminated employees of vesting eligibility, requesting pension projections if applicable, health insurance continuance and life insurance conversion
-Develop a system to collect supporting documentation from internal systems for dependent auditing during annual Open Enrollment
-Coordinate interface of department automated systems with payroll, human resource and financial accounting systems
-Conduct Medical and Dental Audits
-Assist with Open Enrollment administration including presenting benefit education programs to various levels of the organization (e.g., new employee orientation, Open Enrollment, Benefit Fairs)
-Coordinate with vendors to facilitate financial and health wellness seminars and classes.
-Run ad hoc and managerial reports

Work on the implementation of new projects such as Leaves Program, Mandatory Sick Leave, Time Off Programs, and Dependent Audit. Assist with the administration of Open Enrollment appeals, Life Events for benefits enrollment, and Early Retirement Program.
