ODOT is looking for a Technical Specialist 4 (TS4)  for an assignment through the 2018 Fiscal Year.
 
Local candidates only.  Face-to-face or phone interviews will be conducted.
 
Requirement Description: 
ODOT is seeking support for the next phase of their migration to the Next Generation Telephony Solution (NGTS).
 
This position will function as a highly skilled Technical Specialist with specific responsibilities that include:
  • Network Support
  • VoIP Support
  • IPICS migration and configuration
  • VoIP migration finalization, configuration and clean-up
  • Evaluate project needs and procure resources to complete projects.
  • Participate in development, implementation & administration of telecommunications systems.
  • Develop & implement procedures and policies pertaining to use of network.
  • Act as the escalation point for high priority issues
  • Work with vendors to resolve problems
  • Knowledge of maintenance and mitigation techniques for improving and sustaining operations at a high availability level
  • Strong communication/leadership skills.
  • Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines.
  • Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
 
Mandatory Requirements/Time
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
  • 4 years' of relevant experience.
  • VoIP and Telecomm experience.
  • Experience Developing and Implementing procedures and policies
