About the Position
We are currently looking for an experienced EDI Coordinator to join our team.  This position is within our Sales Order Processing department and will be responsible for the maintenance and daily support of the company’s daily transaction flow for EDI trading partners. This position works closely with Sales, Shipping, Purchasing and IT staff to ensure all business requirements are met on an accurate and timely basis.  This position also interacts with customer EDI departments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Primary role is the day to day operations of all EDI functions, including incoming sales orders and outgoing shipping notices and invoices.
  • Manage all EDI projects and communicate directly with trading partners.
  • Feed and troubleshoot EDI transactions into and out of backend ERP system.
  • Follow EDI guidelines from all EDI major trading partners and implement any updates pertaining to EDI transactions.  This includes work to maintain a working interface with the company’s ERP system.
  • Review, track and ensure document transmissions in a timely manner.
  • Review charge-backs and follow up with Accounts Receivable department for EDI non-compliance charge-backs assessed.
  • Set up and coordinate tests with Operations and Warehouse for new trading partners on EDI.
  • Work to assist other departments such as Sales and Warehouse) to prevent chargebacks.
  • Perform Quality Control on all setups, modifications, updates to the EDI System.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3 to 5 year’s experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of order management, inventory management and warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
