Job Description & Requirements
  • Ability to interact effectively with physicians and highly skilled at change management
  • EHR implementation experience (Epic preferred, but not required)
  • Licensed clinical background (RN, LPN, PA, MD, etc.) preferred, but not required
  • Operational knowledge across the continuum of care
  • Ability to identify and report on key physician issues
  • Possesses a deep understanding of operations workflows and procedures
  • Project management skills
  • Experience working and collaborating with physicians
  • Ability to provide education on the physician adoption process (CPOE and documentation at a minimum) and supporting change management tools to leadership, physicians, and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to provide operations and project support for physician adoption activities during EHR implementation activities
  • Ability to partner with physician champions and communication leaders to keep the physician community updated on the EHR project
  • Ability to work with project managers to integrate physician adoption project plan into overall EHR project plan
  • Ability to develop and manage physician adoption project plan, assigning tasks to appropriate resources and tracking progress
  • Ability to Provide direction regarding integration of physician adoption principles and strategies
  • Ability to partner with physician leaders, clinicians, and project team to identify common physician workflows, ability to understand current state processes, assist in the gap analysis and development of future state workflows
  • Ability to Coordinate and attend Physician Advisory Group and other project team meetings as needed
  • Ability to partner with physician champion to develop, measure and analyze physician metrics for efficiency and quality pre and post implementation
  • Requires onsite 10 hour shifts Monday- Thursday or Tuesday- Friday (40 hour weeks)
  • Minimum 3 years' in a healthcare provider setting
  • Minimum 3 years' build experience
  • Must have an in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the respective EHR software
  • Apply an in-depth understanding of the respective EHR application to perform design, build, and testing activity if applicable
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure a high level of quality
  • Experience implementing an electronic health record
  • Must have current certification(s) within required module(s)
