The AML Risk Analyst/Senior Analyst will:
• Provide support of Brokerage Private Bank’s BSA/AML Know Your Client and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes for the First Line Bank / Wealth Management Risk team.
• Perform quality control reviews for new account opening process ensuring that the AML Customer Due Diligence process requirements (including CIP, CDD, Negative News and Sanctions Screening, and Source of Wealth reviews) are sufficiently met when new accounts are opened.
• Partner with the Business Unit, including Financial Advisors and Branch Risk Officers, to ensure appropriate client on-boarding due diligence processes are enacted while providing a positive client experience
• Escalate customer profile modification requests and raise requests to business unit contacts, including Financial Advisors and Branch Risk Officers, in order to ensure that appropriate client onboarding due diligence process requirements are enacted while providing a positive client experience.
• Escalate potential risk issues associated with new account opening customer profiles with internal management and the Second Line of Defense Bank AML Compliance teams.
• Actively identify, measure, control, and remediate AML Risk issues with partners in Bank AML Compliance and the Business Unit

Skills Required:
• Have an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or other related fields
• Have 2+ years of relevant experience in BSA/AML Compliance, Know Your Customer, and Customer Identification Program requirements
• Ability to work both independently and with team members, as well as providing support for multiple team managers, under tight deadlines
• Evidence strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Be able to handle highly confidential information professionally and with appropriate discretion

Skills Desired:
• Experience with US Banking regulations and knowledge of Securities Based Lending products is a plus
• Desire to be certified as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist by ACAMS or equivalent AML certification/license
• International Banking & Lending or Foreign Language acumen is a plus
