Our diversified asset mgmt client with offices in midtown NYC is looking to hire fulltime for the following Lead Project Manager role.

Seeking a multi-talented, high-energy Technology Lead to manage, direct, and oversee various projects across multiple functions including Marketing/Investor Relations, Branding, and Human Capital. The ideal candidate will provide visible leadership, accountability, and authority over high profile projects. The ideal candidate will also work independently and exhibit a high degree of initiative in resolving problems and developing recommended solutions.

• Contribute to the development of the technology strategy and manage complex projects full-cycle through design and implementation
• Actively manage stakeholders' expectations, resource alignment, and possible conflicting priorities across projects
• Lead scope definition and communication sessions; utilize negotiation skill set to drive the project team and stakeholders to make timely decisions to ultimately deliver projects on schedule and within budget
• Partner with technical architects to ensure technical models are aligned with business models
• Serve as SME to vendor systems (e.g. Salesforce and Avature) and coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, and fixes
• Review, document and improve workflow and system processes to meet and exceed business objectives
• Identify risks, plan for unanticipated outcomes, and form appropriate contingency plans
• Communicate reports regarding project status, risk management and escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team
• Manage a team of 2+ people
• Prepare and manage yearly budget

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)
• Experience in managing projects for a buy-side financial firm (preferably a sales or human capital team)
• 10+ years industry full cycle experience of SDLC methodologies and approaches, including refining business requirements and defining functional specifications
• Experience and familiarity with CRM systems (preferably SalesForce) is a MUST
• Strong leadership skills and extensive experience leading complex projects including multiple parties, both internal and external
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Adept at listening and soliciting feedback from users and stakeholders
• Independent business analysis skills
• Detail & process oriented
