Required Skills:
  • Minimum of BS degree in Information Systems or a closely-related field.
  • Complete understanding of the architecture of SAP applications in a large SAP environment.
  • Minimum of 6 years of broad and deep SAP technical, architectural, and design experience, including experience in all phases of SAP development projects experience.
  • Minimum 4 years business application development experience, preferably in a SAP environment.
  • Pharmaceutical experience dealing with validated/regulated applications is preferred by not required.
  • Knowledge of end to end data traffic security for both intranet and internet is desired.
  • Migrating from on premise to AWS of SAP applications, databases, and infrastructure is highly desired.
  • SAP ECC to S/4 on HANA migration experience is desired.
  • In depth knowledge of the SAP Basis environment.
  • In depth knowledge of project management principles and full life cycle development.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and team player strengths.
  • Excellent problem-solving / debugging skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • The ability to understand the big picture while working on individual layers of the project.
  • Commitment to high quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills, including technical documentation.
  • Must be able to work in a matrix-managed environment, and on multiple projects/tasks.
  • SAP architecture MUST.
  • Migration experience is a must (data center migration or hardware migration).
  • AWS background good to have.
  • Understanding of SAP cloud platform highly desirable.

Project Description:
The SAP Solution Architect primarily supports the architecture, design, and analysis efforts of the SAP ECO System, to include ERP, S/4, BW, MDM, CE Portal, RPM (PPM), GRC, SCM, Fiori, GTS, ATTP, Solution Manager, WebDispatcher, HANA, and miscellaneous SAP and non-SAP complementary applications. Knowledge of migration of SAP applications from on premise to AWS is highly desired. Depending on the size, complexity, or specific needs of a project, roles could consist of some or all of the following: requirements gathering, analysis, design and/or design reviews, documentation, and consulting support to others.
  • Architect SAP solutions for projects of all sizes with minimal direction.
  • Be able to lead analysis and design efforts, including creation of all or major portions of a design document.
  • Depending on department and project needs, support functional and technical design efforts, including data flow diagrams and multi-dimensional data models.
  • Review design documents to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of SAP products' direction.
  • Communicate to SAP via OSS for problem solving.
  • Provide production support, when necessary.

This 6+ month position starts ASAP.
