Program Overview and Objectives

The OneClinical Program will implement an integrated clinical data platform that will streamline access to clinical data to deliver better insights and improve data driven decision-making.

Three primary components are required to meet the objectives and future state requirements for the clinical data platform:
  1. Clinical Data Workbench: Process and tools to aggregate, review and curate clinical trial data to generate high-quality, reliable and statistically sound data for analysis.
  2. Clinical Data Repository & Governed Data Access: Process and tools to aggregate, review and curate clinical trial data to generate high-quality, reliable and statistically sound data for analysis.
  3. Metadata Repository & Standards Governance: Process and tools to aggregate, review and curate clinical trial data to generate high-quality, reliable and statistically sound data for analysis.

Project Description:
This program will have multiple work streams to meet the objectives. The resources on these work streams will consist of internal resources, supplemental resources, and multiple vendors. Key Partners will be leveraged as well as software integrators.

The Program Manager will work across all work streams, with IT and the business, to provide a comprehensive view of the program including management of integrated timelines, RAID items, dependencies, status, financials, and support for communications and updates to stakeholders of all levels.
  • Develop an integrated timeline and drive planning and execution activities across the program.
  • In conjunction with the IT Business Partner and the PMO, establish the appropriate governance structure and team meeting cadence.
  • Conduct program meetings and maintain mutual interaction with project team members, leaders, staff, vendors, and consultants.
  • Manage the Program Level RAID Logs.
  • Facilitate communication within the program and across workstreams about issues, risks and decisions and other key program related communications.
  • Identify program dependencies and risks, confirming mitigation and contingency plans are in place for identified risks in order to reduce the risk of failure and support success of the individual projects. Work with teams to manage dependencies and risks.
  • Support vendor management as required.
  • Track project financials. This includes updating project financial projections and reconciling with actuals.
  • Facilitate resource allocations and escalate resource deficiencies.
  • Provide weekly and monthly status updates to key stakeholders, sponsors and the Program Management Office ( "PMO”). Coordinate material or information needed by the PMO.
  • Inform senior leadership of key activities and create periodic progress reports summarizing project status, risks, and required actions and associated timelines. Maintain and confirm accuracy of project documents and reports.
  • Escalate issues and risks as required.

Required Skills:
  • Strong program management skills are required, along with strong communication skills which can be tailored to different stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the clinical domain is required. Knowledge of Clinical Data is a plus.
