COMPLIANCE DATA & REPORTING SPECIALIST FOR SUNSHINE ACT
PLAINSBORO, NJ

Project Description:
To provide assistance to the Compliance Government Reporting team with projects related to compliance with the Federal Physician Payments Sunshine Act ('Open Payments'), state laws and restrictions, transparency and public disclosure. The individual will work closely with the Compliance team as well as business partners who provide data related to Open Payments and State reporting.
  • Conduct transactional data reconciliation and remediation activities of various company records to comply with Federal and State government requirements.
  • Manage deadlines against a detailed project plan.
  • Assist with the preparation of government reports in a form that is standard with the regulatory requirements.
  • Review and analyze healthcare professional related data and documentation within related databases to identify gaps and trends.
  • Perform comprehensive reviews of expense reports, consulting contracts and fees, speaker programs, and other relevant records and documentation.
  • Follow standard processes to identify and flag compliance controls and requirements.
  • Create documentation to support overall data review and transactional processes.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, IT, and other stakeholders in identification of reporting process gaps and requirements.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2+ years overall pharmaceutical or life sciences experience is required.
  • Compliance auditing and/or monitoring experience preferred.
  • Proficient in standard MS Office suite (MS Word and PowerPoint) required.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills such as Pivot tables, Macros, and VLOOKUP functions preferred.
  • Experience with MS Access databases preferred.
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets, data analytics, and big data preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills - ability to work in teams, multi-task, provide status updates and proactively follow up.
  • Sound judgment and confidential and ethical decision making required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
