Project Description:
This role is responsible for operationalizing, conceptualizing and executing primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary market research projects and analyses to help drive data-based decision making in the Market Access Space.
  • Manages primary (qualitative and quantitative) research projects to efficiently deliver creative, customer and market-based input on strategic and tactical business issues.
  • Designs and executes standard research methodologies with moderate supervision, partnering with access and payer marketing team members and outside vendors to customize research design and methodologies where appropriate.
  • Synthesizes data from multiple sources and develops realistic, insightful and actionable. Recommendations, and present the data/recommendations in a coherent, meaningful way.
  • Leads department project management needs to ensure optimal business work flow.
  • Effectively prioritizes assignments in line with business priorities.
  • Works closely with the internal cross-functional teams (Market Access, Payer marketing, Medical,) and represents the Market Research function on key internal business teams and workstreams.
  • Partners with Access Analytics to develop integrated deliverables with deeper, break-through insights.

Required Skills:
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Market Research, Mathematics, Finance, or equivalent required.
  • Advanced degree in General Business, Finance, Economics, Market Research, Operations Research, or Statistics preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant primary market research experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant market access experience strongly preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience or previous market access consulting experience required.
  • Experience in the key functional areas of market research, including design and analysis of primary market research and secondary data analysis required.
  • Strong project management experience optimizing productivity and project planning required.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems/data gathered from a variety of sources, and use the data to develop key recommendations.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and work independently to deliver timely and accurate information and analyses.
  • Ability to effectively work in a matrix environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and project management skills; strong attention to detail.
