Senior Network Team Lead who leads a team in providing services in a customer, multi-vendor, multi-protocol complex network environment. Interacts frequently with customers, vendors and management to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. Acts as technical resource and point of escalation for team members.

Engages in identifying and resolving complex problems relating to product/service installation, update, configuration, operations, performance, or other aspects of information technology.

Accountable for projects, analyzes complex/new situations, anticipates potential problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts, and risks, conducts special projects, influences people and organizations, including executive management, when issues are complex/difficult and require considerable diplomacy.

This is a customer facing position, requiring excellent verbal and written English speaking skills.

Your responsibilities which includes, however are not limited to;
  • Assigning and directing work of team members, balancing the work amongst the team, approving work schedule (including days off, vacation days) as well as hours of work, and acting as the main point of contact for team members.
  • Implement and provide input to the development of service strategies, new or improved operational guidelines and procedures. Recommend and implement methods / procedures to improve customer satisfaction and meeting business objectives.
  • Assist in developing functional objectives and leading special projects of significant importance.
  • Providing advice and guidance to all team members on issues that are complex, related to new business, proposals, statement of work, service level agreement improvements, etc.
  • Develop, track and implement service performance and quality assurance.
  • As required, investigate and resolves matters of significance and customer escalations on behalf of management.

Recognized as an expert in their field and possesses an in-depth knowledge of Network technologies and management tools;

Cisco ASA Firewall, Checkpoint Firewall, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Switching, Cisco Routers:, DMVPN on site routers, F5 BIP IP Load Balancers:, DNS, Riverbed WAN Acceleration: DHCP, Remote Power Management (APC PDU's, UPS'S, and Netbotz environmental sensors), Remote Accessibility, Configure, deploy, Avocent Terminal Servers and DSView centralized repository of Terminal Servers.

Must be on site in Chicago, IL and authorized to live and work in the United States
