Senior Telecom Engineer responsible for ongoing support and operation of a Cisco based Telecom infrastructure. Duties include creating and implementing innovative solutions to solve various Telecom issues.

Responsibilities may include any move, add, or changes (MAC) to support the current and future user population, troubleshooting and resolution of any telecom related issues, and perform any required OS upgrades on telecom equipment as needed.

Individual will also be responsible for the enhancement of the telecom infrastructure and the mentoring and training of less senior team members. Duties may include the review of telephony performance, device logs, and overall health. Report any potential issues and be able to present recommendations. A Telecom engineer will be responsible for any required updates to the documentation resulting from any modifications.

This is a customer facing position, you must have excellent verbal and written English speaking skills, be an expert at documentation, including process flows and UML diagrams.
  • Able to communicate with a wide variety of people (executive to intern) and teach highly complex concepts to non-technical people when needed.
  • 5+ years experienced in Cisco AXL SOAP.
  • 5+ years experienced in CUPI/CUMI.
  • 5+ years experienced in Network capture dissection and analysis proficiency.
  • 5+ years experienced in CUCM dial plan.
  • 5+ years experienced in Nagios design and programming.
  • 5+ years experienced in Cisco RTMT use for troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years experienced in Cisco IOS voice debugs.
  • Provide advice and guidance to all team members on issues that are complex, related to new business, proposals, statement of work, service level agreement improvements, etc.
  • Develop, track and implement service performance and quality assurance.
  • As required, investigate and resolves matters of significance and customer escalations on behalf of management.
