Title: IT Asset Management MS .Net Developer

Required Skills:
  • 6-10 years of technology experience and at least 6 years of technical coding experience
  • The .Net Developer will focus on front end user interfaces and develop code to support the UI, the business layer, and the database layer.
  • The .Net Developer will be responsible for writing documentation to describe program flow, business logic, and will assist with custom configuration of applications.
  • Post-secondary degree in computer science or related field or combination of experience and education
  • Experience in Data Base design in Microsoft SQL
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft .NET framework application development
  • 1 year of experience with C#
  • Experience with Windows Forms (WinForms), Windows services and console applications, a plus
  • Experience with LINQ to Object, LINQ to XML and Lambda expressions, a plus
  • Experience with Telerik DevCraft Ultimate Developer License, a plus
  • Experience with Rest APIs
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic, Visio, Excel, Word, Outlook and HTML
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members, IT teams, internal customers and management

Profile – Description:
Our Direct Client's Global IT Asset Management team is currently seeking a MS .NET Developer to develop, modify, and maintain specific asset management tools, specifically, the Software Asset Management portal. The development work will be in accordance with Client processes, standards, and best. The .Net Developer will focus on front end user interfaces and develop code to support the UI, the business layer, and the database layer. The .Net Developer will be responsible for writing documentation to describe program flow, business logic, and will assist with custom configuration of applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Adherence to functionality, quality, and schedule for IT Asset Management program
  • Provide overall solution delivery while employing best practice methodologies
  • Develop, maintain, and support custom Client applications for asset inventory, including software assets
  • Provide technical recommendations for enhancements to existing IT asset management tools
  • Assist in the creation of the functional specifications and design
  • Code presentation, business and data layer objects
  • Acquire knowledge of Asset Management knowledge
  • Produce technical documentation applications, as required
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing application
  • Investigate and resolve application functionality-related issues
  • Identify opportunities that can improve code maintainability

Day to Day Activities:
  • Estimate and code technical solution.
  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality.
  • Provide technical support to end users for the IT Asset Management tools, including Software Asset Management portal.
  • Communicate IT Asset Management status updates to ITAM Program Manager and lead Architect.
