The selected project managers must have the experience of leading ERP projects such as ERP implementations, ERP Upgrade and/or global Financial Reporting, for a multi-billion Dollar global company (Oracle EBS preferred, not required)

The selected Project Managers would (as applicable) manage the overall activities between IT, the Business Community, infrastructure service providers, application vendors, and the onsite/offshore implementation partners. He/She would work with the Business Community to identify the key requirements, identify available implementation options, and drive the planning and execution of the project. He/She would provide weekly updates to the Program Office, and escalates issues where help and visibility is needed.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the planning, directing, and coordinating of designated projects from inception to completion. He/she is accountable for the successful delivery of projects.
  • Responsible and accountable to validate the Project Scope, Timelines and Budgets.
  • Responsible to develop Project Charter, including project organization structure, roles and responsibilities of team members risk mitigation plan, Project Communications plan, Project Resource Plan, etc...
  • Captures the project scope and achieve agreement on project deliverables, and completion dates, and interim milestones.
  • Works with customer's IT organization to devise the implementation options and develop the staffing and execution plan to achieve the project objectives.
  • Develops, socializes and communicates detailed project plan with project team and stakeholders.
  • Manages the day-to-day project execution tasks through the various project phases (Analysis, Design, Build, Test, Release, stabilization), and insures that all of the IT infrastructure components are in place to execute the various phases of the project.
  • Orchestrates the sequence of events involved in building out the necessary infrastructure, the appropriate networking bandwidth, server and storage capacity, database size and performance, and ensures coordination across multiple service towers of the infrastructure organization
  • Adopts, complies and enforces the compliance with the customer standards and methodology for project development and implementation.
  • Maintains and updates project plan to reflect and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Resolves implementation issues, controls the scope and resources and mitigates project risks.
  • Escalates to sponsors and program management office (PMO) issues and risks that are beyond his/her control
  • Follows consistent project management methodology and tools, manages and communicates changes to project parameters.
  • Manages the time, scope, and effort of projects and coordinates resources, risk and issue management.
  • Resolves issues related to functional requirements, technical implementation options, and task priorities.
  • Conducts and facilitates project meetings, maintains issues list and communicates project status to business and IT sponsors.
  • Ensures that project documentation and artifacts are uploaded to a knowledge base accessible to all the stakeholders. Maintain updated knowledgebase.
  • Acts as the liaison between internal and external stakeholders, partners and project team.
  • Conducts phase gate reviews.
  • Manages project resource allocation and resolves resource demand/priority conflicts.
  • Plans the Deployment to Production and Stabilization phases of the project and ensure adequate support during the first few weeks post-Go-Live
  • Plans and coordinate successful knowledge and responsibility transition from Project Team to Support Team.
  • Conducts post-mortem retrospective and project end appraisals (lessons learned).
  • Ensures all project closure activities have been performed.
